  1. Hi Linda! It does not need to be exact, but those are the maximum dimensions. Basically the airline may have a carry on size tester, and if they ask you to see if your bag will fit and it doesn’t, they have the right to make you pay to check the bag, unfortunately.

  3. That’s a good point Geraldine. We still stand by TUMI being a great brand, however it does state in their return policy that monogrammed pieces can not be returned – which is a fair policy since it is not defective nor re-sellable.

Hey Alan, we did some digging and seems you are not alone, check out the critical reviews for the Movelite here: https://www.amazon.com/Samsonite-Movelite-Extreme-Piece-Softside/product-reviews/B00X60DILY/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_viewpnt_rgt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1&sortBy=helpful&filterByStar=critical&pageNumber=1 . One reviewer said that when factoring the wheels in, the bag exceeded the allowed size limits.
